Prepare for your class
What to wear
Please wear something comfortable: gym knit or similar is ideal. Avoid loose clothing that may fall or restrict your vision when bending over.
What to bring
A yoga mat, water bottle, towel, blocks, and strap are ideal- but nothing is required. If you are practicing from home and do not have yoga props, large books make a great substitute for blocks and a belt can substitute a yoga strap.
How to prepare
It’s advisable to eat at least one hour before class. Drink plenty of water and come hydrated. Switch off all electronic devices before you begin practicing.
Please aim to set up your space in person or log onto Zoom 5-10 minutes before class. This allows class to start on time and you can enjoy a full practice.
Virtual students can play their own music from their own space so that they can adjust volume to their preference. Laura uses Yogi Tunes for in-person classes.
Bookings and Cancellations
If you have booked a class that you can no longer attend, please give Laura 24 hours notice via text message or email to avoid paying for a class that you cannot take. For private students experiencing trauma, more leeway is given for cancelations due to the unexpected nature of PTSD.
Payment
Payment is expected before class. No exceptions. Payment can be given via cash, check, or Venmo. Laura has discontinued credit card payments for the time being.
